Angel Descent

This game started as a school project where we needed to make a retro fps using the Godot engine with a Developer kit made by our programmer. In Angel Descent, you will play as an Angel who have just witnessed a demon stoling the 7 seals for Lucifer and releasing the first horseman of apocalypse. Despite your superior telling you not to go and to trust that god will solve everything despite the fact that God hasn’t given any sign of life for quite some time already. You will have to go down each layer of hell facing against powerful demon and taking down each of the horseman of apocalypse, but you will have to be careful has to not lose yourself in the process.

For this game, we made a few distinct levels each with it's own gimmick and boss fight such as fighting wave of enemies for the war horseman of apocalypse or one shot mechanic for the death horseman.

In this project I developed the few systems that weren't present in the devkit such as the ability to switch weapon, as well as door. I also made specific mechanics such capturable area to progress in some level or an enemy spawner. And will do half of everything else.
